Our Story
Born of indigenous blood and a lineage of brujas, Gina grew watching her grandmother work fearlessly and powerfully with spirits of the dead and plant spirits. She would hear the stories of her great grandmother and uncle's performing brujeria in Mexico and she would receive her grandmothers sobadas whenever she felt ill or when her grandmother thought it was necessary to get rid of the bad energy. " You have to find the bollitas that are stuck within the body and crush them to get the energy flowing and the sickness out" " Sing to the plants Gina, always remember to talk to them, they will give you their name, awaken their spirit and connect with them, hold their powerful spirit sacred" " If the spirits of the dead are bothering you, tell them to leave with no fear Gina "
Years later she would embark on her own journey of magic, healing and shamanism while she connected with all of it was magic, and divination, spellwork that really made her feel alive. Upon meeting a cardist and now best friend she realized how much she was scared of her own power and wondered how many others like her felt uncomfortable being in open spaces. How many of them felt judged by them just embracing their magic.
With the desire a to build better communities and spaces for those in magic while helping those in need and a passion for creativity Gina created Enki's Magic. A home for those in magic and a opportunity to help those in need.
